Obamacare’s in a death spiral, with 38 and counting extra-legal changes, the mandate not working to get people to enroll, and so forth. Watch as, at some point, spin doctors come out and say Obama wanted single payer all along, that single payer will fix all that ails us, and that obstructionists (read: ‘€œthe GOP,’€ but should honestly read: ‘€œcowardly Democrats in swing states’) wouldn’t follow our brilliant President’s lead in that regard.

Obviously, barring the extremely unlikely retention of the Senate and the capturing of the House by the Dems, there’s no chance that ObamaCare will be morphed into single payer under BO’s watch.

But, don’t be surprised if Hillary or whoever the Dems nominate for 2016 points to OCare as not enough of a good thing, the way the apologists tell us that the $800B stimulus was not big enough, and suggests that the Dems, given the power, will fix health care and turn it into what it should have been all along, i.e. socialized medicine.

Also expect that the GOP’s proposals for fixing things will be under-reported, in order to allow the Left to claim the GOP is only obstructing, not helping.

While I don’t believe this was the plan all along, at least in the minds of most OCare supporters, I do believe that the Left will find a way, when the opportunity presents itself, to take a shot at nationalizing health care in the US.
